Player stats on every box score
- Open a played game and both teams' player stats are under the scoring: goals, assists, points, power play and short handed goals, penalty minutes, and each goalie's shots, saves and save percentage. Your team shows first, with a button to switch to the opponent.
- Every goal in the scoring summary now says how it was scored: even strength, power play, short handed or empty net, worked out from the penalties rather than the scorekeeper's flags.
- The assists are listed under each scorer.
- Coaches can change how a goal was scored: tap its tag and pick even strength, power play, short handed or empty net. The game's power play numbers and the scorer's line follow the change.
- Every penalty is listed under the scoring with its time, who took it and what for, and whether the power play scored or the penalty was killed.
Practice plan templates
- Save any practice plan as a template with the new Save as template button, or build one from scratch with New template on the Plans page. A template keeps the sections, drills, systems, lines and clips, with no date.
- Starting a new plan now offers your templates first. Pick one and the plan opens filled in, ready for a date.
- Templates sit in their own row on the Plans page, so they never get mixed in with the practices you have run.
MyHockey Rankings at every age
- MyHockey Rankings now covers every USA age group from 9U to 18U, not just 14U, so a 10U or 12U team's scouting reports and standings show its own age group's ratings.
- Team settings has an age group choice under MyHockey Rankings. Leave it on "Work it out" and the age is taken from your MHR link, or from the age in each opponent's league division.
Power plays counted from the penalties
- Power play and penalty kill numbers are now worked out from each game's penalties and goal times, instead of the power play count on the scoresheet. Most scorekeepers leave that count blank, which made every team read 0% on the power play.
- A power play goal is now any goal scored with a skater advantage, whether or not the scorekeeper marked it, and a goal the scorekeeper did mark as a power play goal always counts as one.
- Short handed goals are counted the same way, so the Short handed goals tile on your team stats counts every goal scored a man down, not just the ones the scorekeeper marked.
- This shows on every game's box score, your team stats, the standings, scouting reports and every opponent's page. The team rankings under your team stats now work every team's numbers out the same way, so PP% and PK% rank teams against each other fairly.
Import a drill from The Coaches Site
- The Coaches Site is now one of the places you can import a drill from. Press Share on their page, copy the link, and paste it into the importer.
- An article comes across whole: the full title, the write-up as the description, the drill itself as the setup, any coaching points, and the diagram drawn into the article.
- Their videos are for members only, so a video brings its title, summary and cover picture, and the Watch button opens it on their site for anyone signed in there.
