The Four Go is an essential part of any successful penalty kill. On a 50/50 wall puck, all four PKers sprint to create a numerical advantage. The idea is to win the puck quickly and clear it out of the zone. F1, F2 and D1 fight along the boards. D2 stops a few stick lengths away in case the puck squirts out of the pile. The Four Go can be associated to any of the PK schemes described above, though PKers in an aggressive 1-2-1 or 2-2 will be quicker to the puck than those playing a static 1-1-2.
